Do parents get notified about attendance automatically?

Yes, if your school has the Attendance Capture autotrigger set up under Automations. When a session is finalized, matching students' guardians (and/or the students themselves, depending on configuration) are automatically messaged via WhatsApp or SMS using a template tagged for attendance. This reuses the same broadcast history and prepaid-unit pool as manual broadcasts — see 10. Broadcasts & Automations .
