What roles exist in Edumintor?
Audience: Admin
Every account is one of:
- Super Admin — full access across the organization and all branches;
the account that owns the school (created during provisioning).
- Branch Admin — full access scoped to a single branch.
- Teacher — a role assigned to staff with a login; access is limited to
their classes, attendance, exams, and curriculum tools.
- Parent — linked to one or more student records ("wards"); access is
limited to their own children's information.
- Custom roles — Super Admins can create additional roles with a custom
set of permissions under User Management → User Roles.
Frontend menus only show what a role has permission for, but the backend independently enforces every permission — hiding a menu item is a UX convenience, not the actual security boundary.
