How do discounts/scholarships work?

Create a Discount Policy (fixed amount or percentage) under Finance, then assign it to a specific student. If the policy requires approval, a second admin must approve it before it affects anything. Discounts do not automatically shrink an invoice already generated — they're applied to the invoice lines (at generation time or by editing), reducing the invoice total and balance accordingly.
